Effective Communication plays a pivotal role in the growth of every kind of business. Here are the four golden rules for better communication:

Think before you speak
Saying what you mean and meaning what you say is the golden rule of communication. To achieve this you must hear what you have spoken. This requires pausing for a moment to think. Analyze what you plan to say and evaluate whether it sounds like what you mean. When you speak business to someone, you do not have an opportunity to erase what you just said.

Make Eye contact
Eye contact emphasis sincerity and without that your point will not received. Use your body to help you get your point understandable. There are studies that have proven that gestures are directly connected to language and effective communicators use all the tools available.

Keep it simple
Do not try to roll a handful of thoughts into one breath. Break up your ideas so that they will be easier to understand. Direct statements works well, allowing your audience to digest as you speak…

Listen
Communication implies interchange of thoughts. By listening to your fellow members, you can make out what is understandable by what you take in. Another advantage of listening is that the person whom you are listening to will be ready to listen to you.

Communicating your ideas is not easy, but making a professional connection with someone is well worth the amount of energy used.
