Sum 41 – All Killer No Filler

November 22nd 2008 | Posted by admin

I don’t think a band has impressed me this much since blink-182. Why? Because of this very album. Sum41 is great. It provided me with hours of listening pleasure, and it still does. It picks me up when I’m feeling low, it makes me want to jump around when I’m happy. It does everything you want it too, really.

The album contains the mega-famous Fat Lip, and second single, In too Deep. These are both very good, but I could suggest better singles (Maybe Handle this or Rhythms)
The main thing that holds up this album is it’s longevity, solely because it’s so varied. Some songs are fast and monostable, were other are slow (and somewhat emotional). And you can’t go wrong with this.

The final track is titled Pain for Pleasure, which is also featured at the end of the Fat Lip video. Very ‘Iron Maiden’, good song but very different to the rest of the album.
All in all, a near perfect album in almost every aspect. Buy it, and you will see.
