No matter how good your software is, you need a lot of memory and processing capabilities and good hardware is always a big bonus. I came across a good thin client terminal, which I see is a real value for money. A thin client should ideally have very less memory and all the processing duties fall on the head of the central server. Hence when you are purchasing a thin client, you do not have to buy a powerful computer. All you need is a good input output interface and also some processing capacity to process the input and also for the display. Also, one another important feature you should look for in a thin client system is the networking capability. I should call $400 - $500 as a fair amount for a thin client and you should get a decent system. I was looking at the perfdata website and I found a lot of peripherals. The options you get in this store are really good and the prices are extremely reasonable. I remember purchasing thin clients for a lot of money elsewhere and you can also get a good warranty on your products. They have a standard 3 year warranty on most products, which is good.
